I Love English Video Contest 2015

The Embassy of the United States to the Republic of Kyrgyzstan is pleased to announce the “I Love English Video Contest 2015”

Eligible individuals may enter the contest by creating and submitting a video where the words  “I love English” are either spoken or communicated in some other way (i.e. written, visual, etc.).  Videos may be up to 10 seconds in length, and can be entered in one of 3 categories:

— FUNNIEST

— ROMANTIC

— ORIGINAL

The Contest entry period begins at between 08:00 a.m. Bishkek time, on December 22, 2014 and ends at 17:00 p.m. on February 05, 2015.

To participate in the contest: visit our page www.facebook.com/ILoveEnglishDay and upload your video, or provide a link to your video on YouTube. You will be required to select a category for your Entry: #FUNNY, #ROMANTIC, or #ORIGINAL and write a short title for your post (limit of 50 Characters).

You may submit more than one entry; however, each entry must be unique and different from any other entry you submit.

Entries must be received by 17:00 p.m. on February 05, 2015. Once the entry is uploaded, it is final and may not be modified or edited.

The U.S. Embassy will select winners according to the 3 categories. The entry that receives the most overall likes on the Facebook page will be the Grand Prize winner.

Grand Prize – iPad Air 2

Prizes in each category:

Romantic: IPhone 5S

Funniest: IPhone 5S

Original: IPhone 5S

Finalists must be able to attend the awards event in Bishkek on February 14, 2015 in order to be eligible to for a Category Prize or the Grand Prize.

Category Prizes: Each Category Prize winner will receive a prize and a certificate commemorating their contest victory. The Category winner’s entry, and all entries to the contest, may also be featured in the Kyrgyz media and/or in Social Media platforms.

Grand Prize: The Grand Prize winner will receive a prize and a certificate commemorating his/her win. The Grand Prize winner’s Entry may also be featured in the Kyrgyz media and/or in Social Media platforms.

The U.S. Embassy Bishkek’s  “I Love English Video Contest 2015” is open only to individuals who are citizens or legal residents of the Kyrgyz Republic. The following individuals are not eligible: U.S. Embassy employees and the immediate family members (spouse, parents, children, siblings, and spouses or «stepchildren» of the categories above).

Winners will be announced on the U.S. Embassy Facebook page on February 10, 2015.
